Sometimes I miss being in school and then I hear people talking about midterms and finals and decide maybe adulting isn't so bad after all. "

Midterms are a pain in the butt, but at least I picked good classes so I have some fun books to read. I could even use on of my midterm books for another reading challenge! As a professor to be, I'm never gonna get rid of tests, but eventually I'll be the one giving them instead!
Feb 04, 2016 04:51PM

35559 I'll try and make sure that I'll finish my detour book asap then!
And thank you! At least I've got lots of fun readings as a lit major!
Feb 04, 2016 04:44PM

35559 I'm currently fighting my way through midterms, so my reading is a little slow but I am working my way through a dance detour book!

Do you know if we can add books to the detour after we move to the next location or does all we wanna count need to be done before we fly to the next destination?
Feb 02, 2016 10:10PM

35559 Never mind about my previous comment: I started Pride and Prejudice and Zombies which definitely has a dance!
Feb 02, 2016 03:36PM

35559 I can do either a spell out or the detour. Personally the spell-out is easier for me, but I'll find a book with a dance in it! I have one rn that has a dance in it, but I started that way before the challenge so it wouldn't count. But I am sure I'll find one!
Feb 02, 2016 01:01PM

35559 Is it decided then, we're doing the dance detour?
Feb 01, 2016 04:32PM

35559 I understand it as the detour give us more point if more people do them. The four is a minimum (I think) but the more team members who do them, the better.
Feb 01, 2016 04:19PM

35559 I agree, the title ones sounds harder so I would vote that if we want to do five of the detours, we'll do 1, 4, 5, 6 and 8.
Spelling out would work for me!

35559 I second Flying for Fiction!
35559 The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien 276 pages

Current Total: 220,573
35559 This seems like a fun challenge and I'll try to do it in a year, if that's possible given that so far I've only hit New York and Texas!
Jan 31, 2016 08:59PM

35559 I'd love to join a team! It seems like a great first challenge to try out!
I'm Leo, originally from Sweden but I'm currently living in San Diego. I usually read YA, or fantasy or well, really anything except horror and romance.
