35559 Excellent list, thanks Keli!

I'm trying to remember which Agatha Christie books were set abroad as I know I've read a few set in Turkey and the Middle East

35559 I've noticed (somewhat slow given that I've seen the taks for a while) that we would get more points using the Easy books in mini 1 (where they are worth 5) in mini 2 or 3 where they are worth 10.

My approach to maximise points would be to prioritise books from easy countries into mini 2 or 3, then to fill up the easy itinerary slots.

The way to fully max out points on minis would be to have 8 hard countries and 3 medium in the itineraries but even I am not insane enough to think that's a good approach!

The other thing to bear in mind with all of this is you read more if you are actually enjoying the books! If you start something for a task and don't like it, please don't struggle on. Let us know and cut your losses!

This is great thank! The more places we can find things the better.

That's my standard approach to them, unless it's something I'm v keen on.

35559 I'd recommend something by Home Free who were recommended to me during one of the previous wheel challenges.

The most likely thing that's happened is you've opened the official sheet from the first Mod message, rather than the tracking sheet from Mel's messages.

35559 Keli - the minis are running for the whole of TT so even if they aren't used for this itinerary we can use them for a later one.

35559 So between Mel and I, we're happy with all 3.

Would any of these count as a statue for the cover?"

I'd say yes to the 2nd 2 and maybe to the first

35559 Andy - love the reading advisor and I'm jealous of the hammock.

Which Tchiavkovsky books would you recommend? Have recently read Children of Time and really enjoyed it, but he's got so many!

Neither have I! I'll get something pencilled in eventually, maybe. Or it'll be a surprise as I pick my next book.

35559 I'll have a look later at what I've got. Something to take into consideration is that harder countries get us more points on these itineraries - 20points a book for the hard countries!

35559 Happy Mother's Day to anyone who was celebrating yesterday and I hope anyone for whom it's a tricky day found a place of calm.

No worries Lauri - we'll get the books in. If there's a particular task you want to read for, let us know and we can get that marked in as well.

Denise - BOM comes separate from the minis so we can get the page points, BOM points and mini points.

Got caught in the crossfire occasionally. Will get my revenge later in the summer. Probably in a swimming pool.

That sounds awesome! Can't remember London having anything similar even when we were part of the EU. Also v much understand the desire to sit quietly after!

35559 The weather here is much warm than it often is so we took my to a country pub with a playground for the first time yesterday. They did really well until Mr. 7 spilt a drink all down. Luckily we'd finished eating the mains so we came home for a water fight in the garden with our neighbours instead.

ETA the kids had a water fight. The adults did the typical thing of worrying about the washing that was in theory drying.
