Join us for a discussion of Elizabeth Cobb's novel, "The Hamilton Affair".  This is a look at Alexander Hamilton's early life on St. Croix and the complicated marriage he has with his wife following discovery of a turbulent affair with another woman.  Beverage and a light snack will be served. 

This will be a discussion of Hazel Gaynor's novel "The Cottingley Secret".  In this book, a modern Irish woman inherits a small village bookstore unaware of it's ties to one of history's most famous hoaxes.  Drinks and a light snack will be served.

We will be discussing Lady Fortescue Steps Out by M.C. Beaton. Snacks and a beverage will be provided.

This will be a discussion of the book The Atomic City Girls by Janet Beard. A snack and beverage will be provided.

Join us tonight for a Book Swap! Each person is invited to bring one or more books, give a short summary of the book and then it will be offered to other members. A light snack and beverages will be provided.

This will be a discussion of the Wendy Welch non-fiction book, Little Bookstore of Big Stone Gap.  We will talk about the effect a book store has on a small community and it's people.  A snack and beverage will be provided. 

AUGUST 15, 12PM

Our book discussion group will be doing a Book Swap this month. Please bring one or more books and be prepared to talk them up! We will give short descriptions and then offer them to other readers. A light snack and beverages will be provided.

We will be discussing the life and art of Georgia O'Keefe after reading Georgia by Dawn Tripp. Snacks and a beverage will be provided.

JUNE 20, 6:30PM

Join us for a discussion of Martha Hall Kelly's Lilac Girls. This novel is set at the beginning of WWII and follows three women as they experience the horrors of war. One is an American socialite drawn into helping refugees, another is a Polish prisoner in a medical experimental camp and the third is a female German doctor. All must endure the best they can.
