By day I work in an office of the fiscal branch of local government, which is an experience that I would describe as Kafkaesque if I wasn't talking to fellow book people who probably find the overuse of that term obnoxious. :) But really: I'm lodged away in a corner cube by myself staring out a window at the wall of another building, the second processor in the three person line of data-entering that every bill must pass through. The pile of bills never looks any smaller no matter how fast I work.

But there are certainly worse jobs, and the library is a short walk (and even shorter drive) away, so sometimes I take special trips at 4:30 to reward myself for making it through the day.

It's interest-based. I know that everyone here likes what I like! (not specific books obvs but books in general)

I have a few Facebook friends who post reviews of books they read on Facebook using applications, but there not everyone's a reader and it's more likely that the majority of people seeing reviews posted there are totally uninterested.
