this is going to be a very active thread, i suspect

oh, man - i would love to be the top-disagreed with goodreader

i don't really think much when i write reviews. i don't plan or draft or anything. i just sit down and bang 'em out. i figure my "audience" is just people i know already who read my reviews. sometimes they are addressed by name, and sometimes i just assume they are there. but frequently, when i am reading, i will think, "ah, yes - put
that in the review, karen...)
and sometimes after i write a review, i think to myself "that is sure to get you lots of votes!", and it pleases me. because this is the only standard i have by which to judge my awesomeness.
i have a bit of a fever today, so who knows if i am making any sense.
instead of drunk book reviews, we should write fever reviews...

I vote whored once when I had a really bad day and I posted in a group I'd feel better if people voted for my revi..."that is for your benefit. my reviews are your lifeblood and you know it.

do you have specific questions?? i have to admit - i was away form this place for most of the day, and i basically skimmed everything here.

damn, another missed opportunity.

i have something. it is all throat and head and fever. it makes cleaning even more fun!

it died. so i got a new one, but i had to spend the day moving shit to make a path for it...it has been a long and dusty day, you see...

hahahahhaaa
i love your reviews. they are usually for books that i'm probably never going to read, but they have a really great energy about them.

i sell books and break fridges.

i enjoy pictures. i try to be more sparing with them, but because it is a feature that is offered, i just can't help myself from using them. but i try to bury them further down so as not to offend the feed-purists. but i think they can really enhance a review if used properly.
other than that, i try to write really helpful, academic reviews that really get to the heart of the book's import both now and to future generations.

i do not have time to explore this shit right now, but yes, i am doing my thesis on goodreads.com SPECIFICALLY because there isn't anything out there n it really, yet.
but i think we have different goals in this endeavor.
narrow eyes.
i think.....
