429940 Hey all!

I have created a reading schedule for us for the next few months. Hopefully you can easily see this in the homepage for our group!

1. I've added books to read for March, April, and May! I will have 2 - 3 suggested books each month based on the FOC podcast archives and Christy & Haley's blog posts and GoodReads reviews/ratings. At least one will always be a fiction book.

2. Each book is associated with a folder for discussion. This should become more apparent once we start chatting about the books.

3. I have once again posted three options for your monthly challenge - 1 book, 2 books, or 4+ books.

Did you know that you can set a personal yearly reading challenge for yourself in GoodReads, but no other challenges? That's what these are for! Read anything you want, as these challenges are mainly for you to inch toward that yearly goal more visibly. And if you haven't, go set your yearly book goal now!

***Annnnnd here are our books for the next few months:***

MARCH
- Kristin Lavransdatter *book 1
- Not of This World: A Catholic Guide to Minimalism

APRIL
- Kristin Lavransdatter *book 2
- A Magnificent Obsession: Victoria, Albert, and the death that changed the British Monarchy
- O Pioneers! (Great Plains Trilogy Book 1)

MAY
- Kristin Lavransdatter *book 3
- Everyday Sacrament: The Messy Grace of Parenting
- The Song of the Lark (Great Plains Trilogy Book 2)

JUNE
- My Antonia (Great Plains Trilogy Book 3)
- Ross Poldark (Poldark Series Book 1)
- The Story of a Soul: The Autobiography of St. Therese of Lisieux

429940 I'm reading 'Cold Sassy Tree' - it's definitely different than my usual reads, but I'm enjoying it. Also reading 'Eat Better than a Cave Man'; which is interesting but not my favorite genre, so it's going slower than it should.

429940 Hey gang!

Thank you everyone for joining in. I'm SO excited to have a great group of readers to turn to for questions, reading challenges, read-alongs, and more!

Let's chat about February (and other months!). I would like to have at least 2 official read-along books per month. If you are looking for a book to read, please join in! If you have already read the book, we'd love to have you join the discussion.

So, I want to hear from you - what books would you be interested in for a February read-along? It could be the first book to kick off a series read-along, or just something you've always wanted to read.

I'll go first:
- Anne of Green Gables (don't judge, I've nnneeeever read any of these!)
- Kristin Lavransdatter (I definitely want to read this with a group since it's so long)
- All-of-a-Kind Family
- These Old Shades

Also, I have ready all 12 Poldark books and would love to re-read them, so I'd be up for a readalong/discussion of them!

What would you like to see for a read-along in Feb?

x Amy

ps - sorry I've been MIA for so long, I had shingles over my eye!!

429940 Thank you all for joining in the group! We're starting things of simply here :)

Click on the "challenges" button/tab to check out our monthly challenges. These will be the same each month - challenge yourself to read 1, 2, or 4+ books.

This is a great way to start off the year right - by challenging yourself to more reading.
