I loved your Gemma series so much I'm rereading it again. When you start writing do you know where you are going with the story/characters or do you let it unwind as you begin with a simple idea?


What advice would you give my 5th graders? (I have a few budding writers that beg me for time in class to write. It's so exciting to watch them.)
