I would like to introduce my new book "Hot Hand," about sports streaks. Sports fans are generally fascinated by streaks, whether it be New York Yankee Joe DiMaggio getting a hit in 56 straight games in 1941 or teams such as the University of Connecticut women's basketball squad or the New England Patriots going on long stretches without a loss. The book includes statistical analyses, but I've tried to keep them non-technical. I would be happy to answer questions about sports, streaks, statistics, the writing process, or any other pertinent topic. Thanks, Alan Reifman.
