I'm halfway through "An Abundance of Katherines" (I don't know how to italicize on here). I'm trying to read everything John Green has written so I can give great book recommendations to my students!

I'm reading more than one book currently, which I try not to do because I finish much more slowly. I'm reading The Red Queen by Matt Ridley, A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin, Swann's Way by Marcel Proust, and To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. I think I'm going to focus on Game of Thrones because it's the longest and then I'll make my way through the other four.

My goal is 30 books, which should be attainable given that I'll combine classics like In Search of Lost Time with well-regarded YA books (I teach high school English). Part of my reading resolution is also to read EVERY day!

I started Swann's Way yesterday and I have a feeling it's going to take me straight into December or longer!
