78394 Someday I hope to own the book and read it. My elderly neighbor surprised me with the DVD years ago. She was laughing sweetly when I called to thank her. It was one of her favorites and I had never seen it. I rather liked it but you really had to pay attention to body language to keep from missing things. It would be interesting to see how it compares to the book.

78394 I was excited to join this group but did not know if I would ever actually own a book that you were having a group read about and time it right. We actually do have this book as my dad read it about a year ago. I thought it was too ambitious for me to tackle. Maybe I will give it a try but I have a lot of reading to do before I do.

78394 Hi! I'm from Omaha, NE I very much enjoy classics such as Little Women and Anne of Green Gables. I have had a goal to improve my background in the Classics for some years. I went to a high school with a good program but was intimidated by a lot of classes so did not avail myself of all the opportunities there. I will probably expand on this later. At present, I know a lot about the Classics from watching the dog Wishbone on PBS.
