ok, but I'd like to see a more thorough review that follows the format I introduced last marking period. It's still posted on the discussion board if you need to check it out.

Good general review. Try organizing it into the paragraphs I suggest in the "How to Write a Book Review" discussion post. It will help you develop your review by giving others a more specific understanding of what the book is about.

It is a good read but follow the format by providing some of the specific things that you liked about the book as well as what you disliked. Also, who woule you recommend it to?

Good basic summary but go more in depth about what you liked and disliked about it. What kind of person would you recommend it to?

Ok but you don't really explain what you liked/disliked about it. Who would you recommend it to?

1) go to your profile and click on your book. You'll see a spot that says "edit review"
2) Click on "Edit Review" and you'll see a large text box with which to begin writing.
3) All reviews should contain at least four paragraphs
1. Brief overview and what you think of the book in general
2. What you liked most about the book/your favorite part
3. Criticism or things you did not like. Even if you really liked the book try to think of something that others may not like.
4. Your final thoughts and recommendation. What group of people/interest level would like this book?
4) See my review on Unbroken for a good example. You can find it by clicking on my profile.

what, specifically interests you about it Ryan?

Should you trade it in for a different book?

Thank you for your comments but I do think you have the "authority" to recommend a book to someone. That book is interesting and presents some strange ideas about society but is not really the most gripping read. I'd argue that you could find a book to read that you wouldn't think of as "boring".

Ok you've told us nothing about it though Jake. What makes it entertaining? Can you relate to Caulfield? Do you like the writing? Why should everyone read it?

Attilian, what part specifically?

If you like "5 people" you should check out "Tuesdays with Morrie" by the same author.

what's cool about it Jake? Explain.

What's wack Tyler? Be specific.

I did too Chris. There's no shame in that game!

what is it about so far Brittany? Coon have you read the book?

It is a great book but could we maybe get a little more specific with the replies?

why exactly do you like it so much? What kinds of twists and turns? Who would you recommend it too?
