Goodness did I love Ruger. I was concerned that Joanna had done it so well with Horse and Marie , but she didn't. I couldn't get enough of Ruger and Sophie's rocky and sometimes confusing relationship. I mean how can you reconcile the fact that you gave your virginity to the wrong brother, or that you never would have known the man you are in love with if you hadn't been with his brother, even if he was an abusive jerk.

BR with the Canary Crew!

Reaper's Legacy is a 3-3.5 star read for me. I enjoyed this story more than the first Reaper's book. Ruger is classic MC material; bad boy at heart with no intentions of settling down. Sophie is a good girl, for the most part, that is stuck in a less than desirable situation. From the day Sophie goes into labor, Ruger is there for her in a big way and never looks back. This was gritty and sexy and so brilliant I loved every word!!! Ruger is just absolutely mouth wateringly delicious and deep down he is so sweet and such a great uncle/dad figure for Noah. He finally gets that lightbulb moment about Sophie and everything falls into place. Just amazing!!!
