3.5 This has to be one of the most intense reads I've ever come across! It is fast pace with intense situations & a very intense main character. I would probably piss my pants in fear if I sat next to him at a party!!!..lol
Now I did like the storyline & subplots, but I felt there wasn't enough description & explanations around them. That is my own opinion. I'm very impatient in know the WHY's. I want to get to know Sebastian, so yes I'll be reading bk 2 & 3!! This book will make you absolutely h ...more

Shelves: amazon-prime, did-not-finish, conquer-my-tbr-in-2015

I like dark books but this one had so many issues it bordered on abuse and thus to me made the characters not very likable. This book just fell short for me in many ways and I just could not find any redeeming qualities in Seb so I could not bring myself to finish the book.

I wasn't sure about this one at first, Sebastian was very unlikeable. I thought he was completely crazy as was his partner Josh. There was a scene at the beginning that had me begging the heroine to run as fast and as far as she can!!
However halfway through I really got into it, the revelations made sense of why he was so crazy!

He decidido que si un libro no me gusta, mejor dicho me produce un odio profundo y todo eso no lo voy a calificar XD Primero por que hace poco lei algo muy triste de una autora y no quiero hacer parte de eso.

Ok, just to say right off the bat, Sinister Kisses is gritty. Not giving any excuses for it, but with his "career,"Sebastian demands control, no questions, no repeating of instructions. Seb's hurt/fear turned into anger, easily. Lashing out in a cold and quiet demeanor, he could either use a knife, fist, hand, gun to show his displeasure. Sometimes Taylor was the brunt of it, and he was indiscriminate in his "cruelty/retraining," not even his own sister was excluded from him.

Sebastian is rich, alpha and works for secret government agency. Taylor is poor, innocent civilian who always manages to get in trouble. They meet when he rescues her from being shoot and immediately asks her to dinner. I didn't like anything about this story, it was the romanization of abuse.
