I'm constantly impressed by Sylvain Reynard's writing style. Always extremely detailed, and with such a vivid imagination, the author transports us to the underworld of Florence with great ease. Bringing Gabriel and Julianne was a genius move. Fans of the Gabriel's Inferno series will rejoice the first time they see Gabriel's name in the story. The Prince

What a great little escape, diving into the world of The Prince, Sylvain Reynard's prequel novella for his new series The Raven. I’m not usually one for paranormal, but I’m finding more and more that skilled authors draw me into this “other world” experience and I’m most often pleasantly surprised. It’s quite fun to compare the traits of Vampires through the fictional world. One thing is for certain, they appear to be just as emotionally diverse and crazy as humans.

Sylvain has captured my attention again with “The Prince”. This is the prequel to SR’s Florentine Series and book one “The Raven”. I was completely enveloped in the world of the Prince of Florence. It’s the old world of Italy (The Florentine Series) interlaced with new world (Gabriel's Inferno Series). I loved the tidbits and interactions of the Emerson’s with The Prince, even when the situation seemed dire for one of my most favorite couples.
