With such a heart-wrenching prologue, I just knew this was going to be a fantastic read! Leighton showcases her beautiful writing perfectly in this sexy, action-packed, heart-stopping new series! STRONG ENOUGH kept me up until the early morning hours, keeping me exhilarated the whole way through. My curiosity was piqued from the very beginning, and when it all comes together, you won't know what hit you.

Jasper King always finds his guy, and he is more than willing to help Muse, but might he have an ulterior motive? Jasper is a man with his own agenda. He is ruthless, brutal, and gets what he wants no matter what. Muse was supposed to be a means to an end, collateral damage, but she gets to close, starts to press his buttons, and ends up getting a glance at the man behind the monster.

This is an intense and sexy romance shrouded with mystery. Shock wave after shock wave of suspenseful goodness. Oh how I absolutely ADORED Jasper's character. The man who believes he is a monster, void of any emotion other than anger. He ends up falling so hard for the girl and showing us who he really is deep inside. It's a beautiful journey, a sad and heartbreaking journey, but beautiful none the less. Muse was a great heroine - strong, determined, perfect for Jasper in every way. This couple worked so well together. They had fantastic smoldering chemistry. The kind that will give you chills.

This was such a great tale of passion, love, and sacrifice. There is tons of mystery, intrigue, and sexy goodness! Intensely emotional at times, I became invested in this couple, rooting them on every step of the way. Leighton did her job with this book. She got me SO excited for what is to come in this series. We meet fantastic characters and get a small glimpse into their lives, giving us an inkling of what is to come. This author always blows me away with her beautiful style of writing. She sucks me in and holds my head and my heart captive. I LOVE it!

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book and absolutely loved every word. Michelle Leighton does not disappoint with this one (or any other one for that matter) We first met Jasper in the weekly installments of Always With You. We knew he was dark but not how much.

I have read a few of M. Leighton's books and have truly enjoyed them, however, Strong Enough was a bit different then her other books. In this case, different is good. We get the romance and some angst, but we also get a bit of suspense and unexpected.

We meet Muse Harper. She is strong, inquisitive and ready to hit life head on, but something led her far away from home and now she needs help.

This is where Jasper King comes in. He comes into her life to help her, but at what cost?

Here is a great dark romance that will have you entranced from the very start! This first book in the Tall, Dark and Dangerous series is everything it's title promised and more! We are introduced to Jasper's heartbreaking early years to give us a glimpse of the man he is to become. Jasper had no control then so he must have it now at all cost, especially in his line of work. Strong Enough is the first installment from M. Leighton's newest Tall, Dark, and Dangerous series. My, oh, my is Jasper King all three of those things!

I was crying so hard I couldn't breathe from the words in the Prologue. Pain, fear, desperation made it impossible for my damn eyes to stop overflowing. Then the monster secrecy that makes up Jasper kept me on edge. The mystery behind his bounty hunter profession. I couldn't resist nor did I try to refuse experiencing the 'want' along with Muse and Jasper.
