Tyler and Poppy Meet Life
Sierra Simone is genius. Some of the other reviewers indicated that they didn't care for this book as they did Priest. However, this book was necessary as a footnote to Poppy and Tyler's journey. It has the same spirit as Priest; it simply lacks the same tension of the first book. Don't get me wrong. This book still has relationship angst. It's a different type.of angst, one born out of an established relationship. It's sad and sweet (Tyler caring for Poppy is EVERYTHING ...more

If you loved Priest, you will love Midnight Mass, though if you have not read Priest, read it now. :)
I loved catching up with Tyler and Poppy. More than that, I love stories that give us a real look at life after your happily ever after. That is what Midnight Mass is. We see Tyler and Poppy struggling to balance work, life and each other. Their love is still very real and strong, but their responsibilities have taken a toll on their every day life.

2.5 stars

Wow! This book was quite emotional. It was heavy. It was real life, it was sexy, sweet and completely captivating. Life got in the way for Tyler and Poppy. His dissertation, her job and all of a sudden they're struggling. The issues were real, raw and gritty. Their story was perfect for them with an underlying message of hope. I hope we get more of their story from Sierra but this book was a good glimpse into their lives.
