I’ve had this book on my TBR for years. In fact, I started reading this one years ago but shelved it for no reason. Anyway, I finally picked the audiobook up and I was hooked from the first minute. This one starts up a bit slow, but eventually picks up speed. Since it’s been around for years, I had a pretty good idea of the basics of it and the dynamic between the 3 main characters: Greer, Ash and Embry. Wow. Just wow. When I finished this book I had to just take a minute and gather myself. Not sure what I was expecting when I went into this story, but once I got into it, it was so unexpected.

This is the story of three people who love each other. Three very different people who are meant to be together. but what do you when one is the President of the United States, one is the Vice President of the United States, and one innocent, desirable young woman? Wow. This book was SERIOUSLY hott! I don’t know how Sierra Simone does it, but she brings out something in her characters, even they don’t know they need and it’s an honest to goodness eargasm listening to this book. 🔥🔥

I went into this book at this time because I had read that it ended in a bit of a cliffhanger for book 2. I am very happy I did as I only had to wait 1 week or so before American Prince is published. With this said I want to emphatically express my immense level of awe and amazement at the elegant style of writing and storytelling that is American Queen. Why did I wait so long to read this book?
