OMG you guys!!! This is THE BEST Penny Reid book yet!!! Granted, this is only the second book I've read from this author, but it doesn't change the fact that I'm completely and utterly ADDICTED to this woman's words! They just pull you in, taking over all of your senses and makes you completely oblivious to the world around you. Once I began, there was NO turning back. I was hooked and nothing was going to break me away from the genius that is Penny Reid!

Not only do her words completely mesmerize me, they take me to a place that I never want to escape from. These incredibly complex characters, her superb and ridiculously smart writing is just EVERYTHING to me, and I can't think of another author out there that writes like Penny Reid does. It's unique. It's sexy. It's smart. It's hilarious. It's EVERYTHING you could EVER want in a romantic comedy or just a romance in general.

"I want to deserve you."

Swoon-worthy. Sexy. Smart. Sensational. Those are just some of the words I can come up with right now that only hits the tip of the iceberg with Matt and Marie's romance. The quirky and lovable characters were just AMAZING! These two did not get off to a good start at all, and the tension just grew from there. This delicious slow-burn of a romance had my toes curling and my heart bursting with so much love, it was ridiculous! I inhaled their story. I devoured it in one sitting, and the minute I read the very last page, I wanted to experience the awesomeness all over again.

"For what?"

"For being you. For loving me."

Overall, DATING-ISH was everything I wanted it to be and SO MUCH MORE! These characters, their journey, the romance, the hilarity, the insane chemistry...it was all ON POINT and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Penny Reid is a definite favorite of mine, and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!

Dating-ish is unique, relatable, hilarious, poignant, and intelligently written. A realistic evolution of love story. I highly recommend this one. I'd give it a million stars if I could.

Really enjoyed Matt and Marie's story after not expecting to. It was a rough start for me. I'm grateful for the delayed gratification and slow build of attraction. Love the glimpses of other friends!!! Anxiously awaiting Kat and Dan's story. ...more
