I loved it.
I hated it.
I couldn't put it down.

This book just goes to show how talented an author C.D. Reiss is when she can invoke so many emotions that leave you drained, elated, aroused and shattered all at the same time.

I can't wait to read more of Caden and Greyson story!

I loved everything about this book. EVERYTHING. I had no idea what it was about and even so, I wanted to go hide somewhere and just read. And that ending. I need it now! A great read!

Rough edge indeed! I've yet to read a CD Reiss book that hasn't grabbed me from the first and taken me on a ride full of twists and turns. This book is no different. Two broken people on a path of discovery is one of Reiss' best tropes (although I love her lighter books too!).

This book is intense, dark and delicious. Every turn of the page was a new delight to the senses and I was transported into the scene, sometimes as an observer; sometimes a participant. I can't wait for the next book to lea ...more

Completely unputdownable.

I will start by saying that if this book, # 1 of this series, sets the time for the others, I can not imagine the twists and turns that will be coming out way. If there was ever any doubt to the level of writing, storytelling and utter unique genius that is C.D. Reiss let this book cement it and make it permanent. My gut reaction in composing a review for Rough Edge... "girl, just read this book if you want a spectacular mindfuck! Also, if you enjoy anxiety attacks. Fair warning...your going to NEED to rub one (or 4) out so don't read this in public. Or with pants on."
