Dante Crowne is my favorite kind of hero, possessive, dominant, and tortured, but also has a soft spot for the heroine. Amanda (Mandy) Benttencourt has a gift for finding men who treat her badly. She is heartbroken and embarrassed after her latest failed relationship and needs to get off the grid and reevaluate her life. When she ends up at the secluded Crowne cabin, Dante is there looking for privacy as well. Neither are happy about their predicament, but they are both too stubborn to let the o ...more

“‘All the money in the world.’ Mom continued. ‘Perfectly decent parents. And what do you get but five grown men with issues.’”

The only way that I want to start this review is like this: I really like Crowne Rules. I thought Byron Crowne’s story would be “it” for me. Then, Logan Crowne’s story came along. I thought his story would be “it” for me, but now, after reading Crowne Rules, Dante Crowne is the king of the Crowne brothers (don’t tell him that as it will go to

Possessive love, consuming type love…

For Mandy and Dante the attraction has always been there.

When they happen to cohab in a small cabin .... there are fireworks! Let’s just say, Mandy’s safe word is don’t stop, LOL.

Dante and Mandy give each other what they crave.

Crowne Rules is hot ... hot like, singe the fingers hot! The bad tempered alpha and the smart and resilient heroine. I’m a sucker for these types.

In the end, what I loved is the growth from both characters and of course a great happ

You can never go wrong with anything written by C.D. Reiss! In Crowne Rules we meet Dante and Mandy. Dante is a man used to being in control and can be a bit domineering. Mandy needs to escape her reality for a while. Dante can give her that, but she must do whatever he dictates. There is some history there and a whole lot of chemistry. Their journey was sexy and steamy and pushes boundaries. And the epilogue gave me all the best feels! Another great read by this author!

Mandy has found herself in a low place. Her taste in men hasn’t been the greatest. And Dante just needs to get away sometimes. Their needs intertwined and the sexual chemistry was through the roof! I enjoyed the banter between them and the way in which these two truly learned things about each other. Once the walls started coming down, the gloves came off and things got real. There’s no storyteller like
