I don't think I'll get enough of Jonathan and Monica, EVER. They’re my most favorite couple. This story takes place six months after Sing. It’s hard and easy at the same time. Jonathan comes back in a BIG way. Monica is just as kick ass as always. She’s the quintessential woman to me. She’s everything I’d ever want to strive to be. Leave it to C.D. Reiss to say so much with so little. She's the master of that. I hate novella's but I will always read C.D.'s novellas.

Jonathan and his Goddess, Monica, are back at it again. Jonathan is getting used to being alive and living with a new heart. Quick, sexy follow up to Sing. Johnnathan is recovering from surgery and not feeling like himself, he knows Monica is unhappy. He feels her driffting away from him, so he takes the situation in hand. A little rough sex and they are back on track. This could have been a longer story and I would have loved to read it, because the conflict sounds interesting.

I was more than grateful to goddess CD Reiss for giving us an extra dosage of Jonathan and Monica! I'm more than happy with how their story ended in Sing, but since I fell in love completely with their story I craved this short read more than anything. Songs of Submission is a definite must re-read series for me. It has love, despair, laughs, sex, hot as hell sex, and family and friends throughout the whole story that makes these book even greater! ...more
