Wow! This book was totally different than what I was expecting from the synopsis.
I love books that have you time jumping back and forth to get to the "current" part of the book. This is exactly what this book does and it is so gripping. It really lets you see into Kya as a character. I originally thought it'd be all courtroom drama, but that's really only a small part.
I fully fought for Kya throughout this book, wanting to shield her from everything that might hurt her.
