This author's work has been hit or miss for me but I really liked this story. It was sweet with just the right amount of angst that was actually appropriate and not juvenile, just a man who wasn't in touch with his emotions. The little girl acted like a little girl, normal, not insanely smart or intuitive or overly well behaved. It was a good read and I recommend it. ...more
