This book was picked for me as a January pick-it-for-me Comfort challenge. I'm trying to figure out exactly what I think, now that I've finished... It was written well, but I think the author put too much in what adds up to basically a novella. Too much meaning, too many things going on, and like, lots of bad luck, things happening, personal obstacles, etc. An amazing value for a free story, though!

4.75 stars! Excellent book. Angel impressed me. He was betrayed after six years with his partner and yet chose to keep his infant daughter and build a life. He's an excellent father and a truly wonderful man. Marcus has lived a lie for six years for the sake of his daughter and now son. He too chose his children only to have his in-laws betray him.
