A nice, sImple rags-to-riches, Cinderella-type story. Narrated well by Paul Morey. Was most definitely an enjoyable listen!

I loved this story. It definitely got me in the feels. Sure Malcolm is a manipulative son-of-a-bitch, but he has the best of intentions. I adored Cassidy and the two sides to his personality. He's spent so much time suppressing who he really is to be someone he needed to be to support his siblings, it's no wonder he was running scared. This is one of those feel good books where the Cinderella type story just made me smile.

Very sweet story, but a little too perfect to engage my emotions overmuch. Maybe that was the point. Fun and quick read with a good cast of characters.
