Very fun paranormal mystery about Detective Chris White and the many cases that take him across the city to help other “abnormals” in need, including werewolves, vampires, goblins, and even a lusty demon lord (who becomes very invested in Chris.)

Everything that I read from Megan Derr turns out to be a MUST READ, and Dance with the Devil is no different. I absolutely loved this book from beginning to end. If it weren't for my inherent need of sleep, I would have read it without stopping.
First, the characters are so lovable - each and every one of them. Chris is a snarky, lovesick ghost. Doug is the competent sidekick. Phil is amazingly naïve, and I love her. And Zach, well, we don't see a ton of Zach, but when he's in the story he ...more

3.5 GLOWING STARS!! I really wanted to give this four stars, but everytime I started to get into a story it end, then another thread began, then maybe the first thread would be picked up but other things have already happened. I REALLY did NOT get why this was done because it certainly didn't endear this reader to the story, author, or editing/publishing team. It was very much a disjointed effort.
