Really fun free short story about Jack, a delivery man with a shady past, whose usual delivery to a sweet old lady goes totally wrong when he walks into a gun fight and finds his life taking a 180 as he’s swept up with a hit man (and his mom).
This is the first story I’ve read by Derr, and I appreciated both its humor and its fast pace, as well as the developing chemistry between the MCs. A very fun read, and I’m looking forward to checking out the sequel The Christmas Package.

The funny thing is this was just ok for me as a short, but if it was ever adapted into a full length novel I think I would absolutely love it. The characters were quirky and fun, and it was nothing like what I expected. I loved the premise and the action, but everything was just a little too rushed for me to really enjoy it.

First Time I read a Megan Derr book and now I am hooked!!! I loved this book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This story was not long enough. I want a full series with these guys! There really wasn't enough told here. There were unanswered questions like (view spoiler). But I did enjoy it quite a big.
