Adored this series and Peter. This was a sweet (what I'm assuming to be) end to the series. But I never felt I knew Nick, thru the whole series just too enigmatic. It's like maybe I missed the pivotal conversations that proved to me that Peter knew him any better than I did. And as inquisitive as he was, it just didn't fly. But otherwise I did enjoy peters voice. Maybe some in Nick's POV would hav helped tho.

I simply adore these mysteries, so funny, so witty, the mystery so well done, and the characters a pleasure to get to know (plus the sweet moments are exactly right). In this one Peter is dealing with an array of things - a stray bullet, a dead eagle, parents and in-laws (Nick's father is great!) and various wedding related little disasters.
