Shelves: first-time, coming-of-age-drama, dark, artists-and-the-like, friends-to-lovers, most-recent-read-in-series, porn-rent-boys-strippers, m-m, hello-closet-my-old-friend, angst

There were moments where I enjoyed little pieces of this book and that kept dragging me back in and from giving this a 2 star rating. But overall I just wasn't happy, especially after the cliffhanger ending that I'm aware doesn't get resolved in the next two books.

I don't know how quickly I would move on and read more of this series. Being someone who works in Hollywood and knows the culture here and it's history, this story focuses on a very negative side of it. Now I wouldn't be one to disreg ...more
