This one started out really strong for me, and I especially enjoyed the feeling I was getting a personal tour through downtown Seattle. That was fun :) And the book was well-written, no distracting typos, flowed really well, etc...but...unfortunately, I think, in this book, the snarkiness of Hannah's friend, and Hannah's wanting to be living Nate's life vicariously left an icky feeling for me...

Hungry for Love was the first book I have read by Mr. Reed, and it definitely will not be the last. The style is extremely easy-going and I really enjoyed the flow of the book. There were some scenes and lines that absolutely had me laughing out loud, and also several ‘awwwww’ moments. I also have to say that being from Seattle, all of the local references really added to the reading experience for me.

4.75 stars. I love Rick Reed's writing. I was intrigued by Brandon. He seemed to want so much and his standards were so high that failure seemed guaranteed. The way that Nate handled his sister's deceit showed that he was a good guy at heart, I just kept wishing that he would've been upfront with Brandon from the first moment that they met.
