The Wilson girls have a tragic past. Orphaned at a young age Emma, Eli and Eve were raised by their grandpa Harry in Louisiana. Let me start out by saying that I am a beginner in Fiction reading and that I have only read a handful of Fiction books in my lifetime. With that being said, I immensely enjoyed reading "Country Girls". With it's mixture of humor and heartbreak, it kept me highly entertained as I anticipated each page turn and every sarcastic remark that flew out of Eli's mouth (she was my favorite character). I absolutely loved reading this book! The Wilson girls take you on one hell of an adventure. I fell in love with this trio of loyal, loving sisters that long for nothing more then the best for each other. Even if being protective causes more then just a ruckus. I lost myself in this story as my world was the Wilson Girls world. Their heartbreak was mine. Their stubborn courage and unconditional loyalty moves me.
