This book will do things to you. Unpleasant things. It will rip your heart out, it will stab you, it will twist the knife a few times, it will leave you raw. But between the sob-fests, you'll also laugh, smile stupidly, and sigh like a love-sick little puppy.

In fair Indianapolis, two star-crossed lovers take the stage. My son and I were discussing the other day that no one ever assigns any books to an English class but those that require kleenex. Of Mice and Men, Where the Red Fern Grows, etc. This book is a shoe-in.
