I enjoyed this somewhat loosely written sci-fi. The basic concept was great, but I didn't care to read more of the series.
Ten years later - This book has some great scene setting. The combat and conflict is ok. The plot is twisted -- it's supposed to be a thriller but the plot is it is too far outside of the readers wheelhouse of understanding to resonate. I enjoyed the discovery of the story with Takashi, but in no way was I able to track with ultimately what was happening to venture any guesse ...more
