I still loved this book don't get me wrong cause I love Richelle Mead's writing style and how she is awesome at character development and world building... The book was paced well and did good introducing new characters/integrating them into the story line. The end of the book however was so sad yet at the same time I was happy for Rose and Dimitri, so there were so many mixed feelings at the end. Wow, I blew through this one in 1 day! It’s just as good as the first one, though somewhat more predictable. But, there were enough surprises and intensity that I couldn't put it down. Again, great characters and some wonderful new ones introduced. I missed the close interaction with Lissa that was in the first book, but loved the stuff with Dimitri, Mason, and Adrian. Can't wait to get a hold of the next book in the series!!

I LOVE DIMITRI! He is like the older guys young girls dream about. Okay that sounded a bit wrong. I meant how mature he is. I mean if the world was filled with men like this, I tell you, no woman would be complaining.
Wow, this was a really good book. I loved the characters and plot of this story. I'm so totally hooked on Vampire Academy. I was also hooked from page one. I can not wait to read the next book.
