“Even in the Future the Story Begins with Once Upon a Time.”

This.Was.Awesome.

This book was great! I was completely addicted while reading this, I finished it in less than two days. It was serioulsy good.

This book is a dystopian retelling of the fairytale Cinderella, but in this case, our Cinder is a cyborg. A freaking cyborg. Talk about new and exciting.

I was so in the mood for a book like this and I ended it up reading it really fast non-stop throughout the weekend. It is such a fast paced book ...more

i absolutley loved this book it was AMAZING i invested myself so much in these characters i adored them i grieved with cinder and it was so good so many shocking twists and turns i loved it i could not stop reading it such a page turner and i loved cinder . DEFINETLY one of the best books ive ever read like EVER deserves ALL the hype it gets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was skeptical when opening this book. I saw the cover and read the synopsis and was slightly interested but couldn't get past the Cinderella element and the hightech world that they lived in. 100 pages in I was really regretting putting off this book for so long. It was fantastic. The writing is descriptive and easily understandable. The beginning was a little slow to me and it took me a while to get into the book. I love the main character Cinder. She endures so much, doesn't ask for anything ...more

I liked this book way more than I thought I would! There's action, political drama, magic, cyborgs, romance, pretty much everything you want out of a good story. I really liked the retelling of Cinderella, though I wouldn't really call it a "retelling". It was more like a whole new story with bits and pieces of Cinderella thrown in. I'd recommend this book to anyone who loved YA fantasy stories. AMAZING! ...more

I did it, I gave in to the hype that is Cinder and you know what? It was all it was cracked up to be!! It was a wonderful rendition of cyborg-Cinderella! Say what now? You heard me, our "Cinderella" is a cyborg...in a dystpoian era...how cool is that?

Awesome book!!! This is a terrific name take on Cinderella with a not-at-all whiny main character! (She can be sort of whiny, but not too much). The only thing I don't like about this series is the waiting....it's been like one million years since I got scarlet and wait is murderous. ...more
