I have finally read this very hyped book and i must say i really really enjoyed reading it! I was very scared to go into this book as i had heard so many good things but also that its not as good as her other series which i had read first but i really liked the concept and plot of this book. I feel very 50/50 with this. Also, I read this one before Assassins Blade, the prequel.
I started this series without reading anything about what the story was about, I was happy to see it was an assassin story. I loved the concept of her fighting for her freedom by trying to become a champion of a king. I don’t know how I feel about the actual challenges, some were good, some were plain. I couldn't get enough of this book! It has magic, romance, action. I just loved it! I would suggest reading 'The Assassin's Blade' first though
