Lovely, lovely, lovely! A cozy that is deftly written and not soppy or unbelievable. Iris Sparks was a special operative during WWII. Gwen Bainbridge was married to a lord's son who died at Monte Cassino. Both have experienced tough times but are trying to rebuild their lives. They open a marriage bureau, where they match up people looking for spouses. One of their clients is murdered and the client they matched her with is arrested for the crime.
