Susannah Drake and her Widowed Father are Missionaires traveling to the island of Fiji. They are spreading the word of Christianity. A Trader Nathan Johson is also going to Fiji. Once there they find the Island is not civilized and danger is everywhere. Violence occurs often and is quite common. Susannah is a naive sheltered Women.
