Contrary to most reviewers of this same book, I have NOT read Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. Nor have I got some plans in reading it soon. Yes, I have a copy of the said literature, and is currently covered by 5 centimeters of dust- Okay, I exaggerate. I clean my shelf every once in a GREAT while, so the dust could be lesser.

The narrative of Vida Winters [aka Adeline March] is beyond compare. Written in goth style, it borders from being mesmerizing to being haunting. [Wait, can they both be syn ...more

Well-written, decent yet fluffy mystery. Some moderately interesting twists toward the end but nothing overly exciting. Fairly benign overall.
