I want to be honest with you, I first wrote this story to be a song. I don’t consider myself an author, or poet. I like to think of myself as an artist, a part time songwriter, and an inventor. I write songs with friends online, and Mobius, began as such but it kept growing and growing until it was just too much. I’m happy that it’s not a song anymore. I think it is just fine as a story with illustrations. People like to point out that it is black and white when nearly all children’s books are filled with color. I made the decision to do so after listening to a story about color-blind children and how they experience the world around them. I wanted them to share the same experience as color-sighted children who might read the story. Feel free to take out your crayons or colored pencils and have it, I only ask that you please post your results.
