What Members Thought
This is the first book this year I have found disappointing. Books don't have age limit for reader but I kind of felt too old for this book.
It talks about violence, drugs, sexual experience, depression and more.... The character Charlie seems so lost. I read about 50 pages and couldn't make head or tail of the book and closed it. I wonder why this book and movie is so popular, may be I am missing something.

You can't deny a book is good or resonates someway within you if you finish the book in a 12 hour period. This book reminded me from the beginning of Catcher in the Rye, way before it was mentioned inside the book. Either you like Catcher in the Rye or you don't, and I do, but in addition to this reminding me of Catcher in the Rye, I also liked Chbosky's characters and of course in particular Charlie, the way Charlie spoke, his thought process was very moving and thought provoking (as in "geeze
