I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review. I was sceptical at first whether or not I would be able to connect with the characters due of the genre. Before I had gotten through the first chapter I was hooked. The Forgotten Ones is a really good read, and I recommend that you read it. It's well written and captivating. Talk about an awesome read for 2013! The Forgotten Ones is full of intrigue, mystery and Irish brogue.

Allison isn't your normal girl. She lives with her grandparents and mother. Ever since Allison was little, her mother was always distant; kinda like the lights are on but no one is home. And Allison has only seen her father in a picture she found. That is until he shows up at her doorstep twenty-two years later.
