This is the fastest-paced Brandon Sanderson book I've ever read. The story moves so quickly that if you don’t stay focused, you might miss important details. I found myself needing to re-read it around the 60% mark because I got distracted at times (my fault), but doing so made the payoff worth it. The one book in Sanderson's "Secret Projects" collection where you really do ideally need to have read the Stormlight Archive to really get the full experience of what is going on. I actually wish I had read them more recently because I couldn't really remember exactly what things were or how people related to each other.

This book is like that little cheat treat you nibble on between lunch and dinner! Loved it! It's a slightly different voice and genre than what we are used to from Brandon Sanderson, and I loved every single bit of this Cosmere treat.
