I had seen an ad on Facebook for this book and just the title drew me in. I read the description on Goodreads and added it to my to-read list. Right off the bat I was so engrossed, sucked in to the story that I didn't want to put it down. This book was written from the perspective of the Detective and his notes of the interview with the suspect, and I actually really enjoyed it that way. It was the complete opposite from any other book that I had read. As the Suspect is telling his story there i

I was introduced to Tim O'Rourke thru the Kiera Hudson Series (which I HIGHLY recommend BTW!!) and I will be forever grateful :] this author truely has a way of pulling you into his stories right from the beginning & not letting go til the very end. this story was no different. Gritty, gruesome, and messy, farm life will never be the same again!! But be prepared, you will not see the end coming til it smacks you in the face. That is one of my favorite things about this Author, he sure favors his

What to say about this book.....well I didn't see that coming!
I am an avid reader of Tim's Kiera Hudson and Cowgirl's & Vampires series and this is the third series I have got my teeth into.
After adjusting to the "Interview" type way it is written I just couldn't get to the end fast enough to find out who done it and why it was happening. This book is darker than the other series with just as many twists and turns with a shocking ending that I would never have guessed in a million years!

I love the way Tim O'Rourke writes, his style is captivating and his characters endearing. This book took my by surprise every chapter. I usually lie trying to guess what's coming and most of the times, I'm never too far off... in this book I felt frustrated with my guessing since I was never right. Black Hill farm is a book you should read, a place you should visit and a surprise you should have!!

Excellent.... the depth of the dark love he has makes you shout "NO!!! Wake up BOY!!!" Is it just him being young and foolish? Perhaps, but most of us have experience unrelenting love/lust for someone that we should NOT have those feelings for! The end - holy sh**... Can only be described as BOOM!!!! Just when you are totally not expecting it or predicting what might happen and Mr O'Rourke turns everything on his head - A. GAIN!!!

I just realised I haven't written a review for this flipping fantastic book. This is the first book of Mr.O'Rourke's that I read.I am now a die hard fan of his.I gobble up anything that he write. This book is so twisted and chilling, but things are not what they seem.I love the way it was written from one of the main character's (Ben) point of view.It goes back and forth from present day to the past as he retells horrifying events that happen at Black Hill Farm. You will be slack jawed with the surp

I read this way back but my review seems to have disappeared so here goes again.
I was first introduced to Tim's books by the way of The Kiera Hudson series which has to be my favourite of Tim's books. But I have to say I do love this series and the wonderful but sometimes scary imagination of Mr Tim O'Rourke.
Yes it is a bit gruesome in places and a little shocking as Ben retells his story of the events that took place and you'll think you have it all figured out but believe me you won't have.

I absolutely love tims work, this book was released before I discovered Tims work and has been in my TBR folder for far too long. This book did not disappoint.
So after I d had got used to reading the interview style chapters, I was totally engrossed, and some parts are totally gross!
How the book ends and what the book is all about is a bit of a shocker though.

I am still in shock from reading this one. As soon you think you have it all figured out tim goes and puts another twist in, then are back to where you started. I am now looking forward to reading Andy's Diary which i know will be as good as this one
