I finished this book a few days ago, but it has taken me this time to get over it. I've gone back to many passages to make sure I had understood the whole thing correctly. As usual, Tim O'Rourke has written a great book, full of surprises, unexpected twists and turns and characters who go from one side to the other in the readers' minds. In my case, I fell out of love and back in love with Murphy several times during this book. Potter was a very side character here and I almost missed his presen

And the plot thickens. At least now I have a better understanding of Murphy & even Jack Seth. I can even understand why they have made some of the decisions they have made & what has shaped them into the men they have become. It makes me sad.
While this installment in the Kiera Hudson series didn't pack quite as much action as I'm used to, though there was still some there along with the blood-gore-suspense & surprises I've become accustomed to. But more than that, this one dug into the emotional ...more

'Dead Wolf (Keira Hudson Series Two, Book 5)' draws the reader in from the very beginning, especially for those of you who have followed this series, as it picks up from where we left off in 'Dead Seth (Keira Hudson Series Two, Book 4)'. However, for those readers that are not familiar with the Keira Hudson series yet, the beginning of this novel is well-explained, easy to follow and provides the background knowledge that is needed to follow the story.

I always liked Murphy but, after reading Dead Seth I felt angry with him and couldn't believe what he had done. I'm glad he got the chance to have his own story. There is betrayal, sadness, and a whole lot of love in this story.I love the Kiera Hudson series. Every story pulls you in on a emotional adventure. I can't wait to see the rest of this story unfold.... ...more

This is all about Murphy and we get a little insight into why he's like he is today. I just love the banter between Murphy and Potter it's hilarious and the usual shockers that we have come to expect in Tim's books. We see a different side to Murphy, pre slippers days and we meet Pen, love her she's such a great character. Then not to forget Seth who's always there twisting things up as usual and I just loved The Wizard of Oz theme.
