Wow...possessive, steamy, addictive read. The Lord and the Lady!

There were many times I wanted to throw this book against the wall but I cannot do that to a book. I stayed with it because a) I wanted to know how long Ava would put up with his behavior, b) I bought the trilogy, c) I was interested in these characters and their story line. Jesse ticked me off a lot. I would probably have killed him but Ava kept making excuses and putting up with his behavior. I do not care how handsome he was nor how hot, his actions drove me crazy. Yeah, Jesse is kind of abusive, no? I kept reading because I just kept waiting for her to dump his horrible ass.
Hot!!!
The number of typos gave me a lot of pause. Very distracting. But I really liked the story. I love broken, damaged heroes and Jesse Ward is definitely a damaged man. A really good read!
