This is a pretty epic romance and book. It twists and turns and tells the whole tale which is refreshing when too many romances end to soon.
What I love about it is that we know almost from the start that they want to be together. No messing around. So, we get oodles of couple time and lots of real conflicts internal and external that they need to overcome to make a love story that can last.

I'd already read a number of the books in this series, so Aaron and Sophia were characters I'd already met - and getting to read their story was a treat! Beyond the dynamics of the relationship between the Dragon King and the Swan Queen, however, was the power this book had as one of the earliest in this universe. Rant and moving to DNF folder with no rating.
I haven't touched this book in like 2 months. I stopped reading this because the swan princess thing was just so over the top that my puke meter couldn't stand it anymore. The whole sweet virgin with the sex on legs hero has been so overdone in PNR and UF that I tend to develop hives every time I come across this.
