3 ½ stars. Enjoyable, pleasant story about a space traveling futuristic woman falling in love with a sword wielding barbarian.

Fun-Fucking-Tastic 4 stars!!! Read for #URR2021Bingo
Omg, this was brilliant!! Think a female Captain Kirk type meeting a barbarian but not really barbarian Alien Man.
Tedra is irreverent and funny and just so darn matter of fact. Not one ounce of navel gazey woe-is-me to our girl ( I hate navel gazey so much..it's my most hated thing ever , in it's current iteration). This is very much one of JL's hr heroines who makes the best of a situation but more bold and more direct given she is in space a ...more

Another favorite story. I don't have anything to really add to my review. I've had a paperback of this for many, many years. I recently bought this hardback and once again, read a story that I find captivating. As usual, I love a HEA. :-)
