This book is like the old family sagas of the 80s, full of characters and different plot lines. The main romance takes place between Lane and Lizzie, but there was no heat or sizzle between the pair. None of the characters were particularly endearing and they came across as very entitled. The story also ended on a cliffhanger. I don't think I'll bother reading the next book. ...more

I think that I might be a bit obsessed with anything J.R. Ward writes. Seriously, I have yet to read anything that wasn't wonderful that she has written.
This book has it all. It's sexy, dramatic, sad, greedy, exclusive, etc. I just hate that I have to wait till the next one comes out! ...more

Most of the characters are not likeable and this is like a bad episode of Dynasty. Even worse, it's sort of a complete story, but not really because it ends with a lot of unanswered questions...that I'm not sure I care enough to get the answers to... ...more
