I thought the book was funny and sexy, but at times it came off as trying to hard. It seemed that some things were a bit over the top, and maybe that's exactly what the author was going for, but not what I was in the mood for.

Still, its worth a read, because Emma Hart is a very good author. I just kept thinking, "I'm not sure if I would like any of these people if I met them in person."

Was I supposed to put my own thoughts in quotes??? ...more

This one I couldn’t put down, read in one sitting ~stayed up WAY too late~ and laughed the entire time. It was my perfect blend of sarcasm and swoon. VERY excited to read more from this author. But this one will be tough to follow because the expectation is now high. Loved both characters, as well as the rest of the cast.

⭐️=barely finished it, not likely to read author again-don’t read.

⭐️⭐️=meh, wasn’t great, also didn’t hate it. Will afford author grace (maybe).
